To finish the moment, to find the journey’s end in every step of the road, to live the greatest number of good hours, is wisdom.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

How did the session help you think about what you want to do going forward? What did you enjoy the most about this day?

Our last session at Amal was of great excitement and happiness. Everyone was happy and thankful on firsthand because the fellowship is going to end but on the other hand, we all were sad because we are now a part of the Amal family, and leaving a family is something that makes everyone sad.

The session really put a way forward for us by streamlining our past and grooming us. We all have developed a growth mindset, a focused approach towards goals, and a positive mindset. Everyone has figured out what is he going to do in his life journey ahead.

What was it like to just talk and connect? Do you think it is important to connect and do things just for your emotional uplift sometimes, even without a focus on work? How do you plan on keeping in touch with your Amal Family going forward?

Emotional uplift has a lot to do with our physical and mental fitness. Emotional fitness is the idea that in order to lead healthy, happy emotional lives we need consistent habits and exercise that support our mental health and wellbeing. … In other words, it implies that a healthy emotional life is primarily a matter of knowledge and understanding.

Sometimes, you have to put all the other things aside and pay attention to your emotional strengths, especially when you’re exhausted with your life. You have to give some time to check back in with your family and friends, your loved ones. I always prefer to maintain long-lasting connections with my circles 3. In this fellowship, there are a lot of like-minded people and I would definitely stay in touch with them. Circle members are……

How do you intend to use what you learned in this fellowship in your future life?

“Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence.”

―Abigail Adams

When I joined Amal Academy, I was thinking that all the things they are going to teach, I already know. Literally, I was thinking not to go forward as every one of us thinks that-

yar aata hy sb kuch, choro kia krna?

That was also the case with me but during the first session, No I realized that it is not what I was thinking about rather I become excited about it and decided to go with the flow. Now, I am thinking that the decision was one of my best decision in life. I am definitely going to implement what I learned especially the soft skills that I learned in this fellowship, the encouragement to do more, gratitude, teamwork, leadership without authority. I am preaching these things to my juniors and coworkers as well.

What do you think this session has to do with maintaining work/life balance? How do you think you will continue to maintain this balance in your life?

Memories are the real moments in which we live. We enjoyed the last online sessions, there was nothing about our project works or online classes, everything was related to fun. This session was amazing. We Worked hard during this fellowship duration. Sometimes it was very difficult to manage time for completing project works. This session was about making fun of and spending some time with fellows in a good way. And these types of activities maintain our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health and specially Mega project activities…….the following things are made by me….

This is necessary with work to maintain yourself. So in daily life, it is also necessary to balance our life by spending some time with our friends where you don’t talk about your work. I will try to continue to maintain this balance in my life.

“Don’t Just

Don’t just learn, experience.
Don’t just read, absorb.
Don’t just change, transform.
Don’t just relate, advocate.
Don’t just promise, prove.
Don’t just criticize, encourage.
Don’t just think, ponder.
Don’t just take, give.
Don’t just see, feel.
Don’t just dream, do.
Don’t just hear, listen.
Don’t just talk, act.
Don’t just tell, show.
Don’t just exist, live.”

Beginning of the End and The Rest is History

“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.” —

Sir Winston Churchill

To conclude it with a quotation that I really like

“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” — William Arthur Ward

Thank you Ma’am ZOHRA (Program Manager) & Ma’am HIRA Fatima (Program Associate). This journey would not be possible and adventurous without your motivation, encouragement, and support. There are no more words to pay gratitude to you.

May Allah always gives you the best in your life and make you happy always.
